In 1983 wordt Muziekvereniging Ons Genoegen (M.O.G.) opgericht. Dan nog als 5-mansformatie met met het zangduo Dr. Zeep en Dr. Spuug in de gelederen. In deze bezetting zijn ze te vinden op een aantal verzamelcassettes en ze maken een split demo met Murder Inc.
Na een jaar gaan Rob Mast, Ray van Hees en Martin Pals verder als als powertrio en in 1985 komt de Radio Rock EP uit. Acht nummers op een 7” die zeer goed ontvangen wordt (lees hier de reviews). Furieuze hardcore die alle kanten op schiet en minder recht toe recht aan is als veel van haar tijdgenoten.
In 1988 komen vervolgens de 7” Crap Rap in eigen beheer en Mcatukrax op Eksakt Records uit.

In oktober 2020 verschijnt M.O.G.'s Radio Rock.
Vinyl met het beste werk van M.O.G. in een prachtige old school hoes. Mét bonus CD, waar al het materiaal van onderstaande, eerder uitgebrachte platen én niet eerder verschenen werk op te beluisteren is.

Zo ontstond neerlands beste punk EP tot nu toe uitgebracht. Zeer originele muziek en hardcore vol vreemde emoties; nergens mee te vergelijken en zeker geen gedefinieerde stijl.

One of the most underrated dutch HC bands. Maybe cause M.O.G. had wacky sleeves and an original sound. But boy did they put out some great HC! But I think they’re in their prime when they slow it down as heard in the two outstanding tracks here: Walking and King Skinhead. Great!

M.O.G. - Do, Bo and Al: didn't really realize it at the time because of the muddy sound, but these guys were already progressing away from their early HC sound towards the brilliant stuff on their classic Radio Rock EP.

This very strong release almost seems like a Dutch version of Die Kreuzen, with the emphasis on high speed trash and the occasional guitar squiggles (and sometimes more than squiggles). I liked several of the tracks here, which at their best, seem to combine all of the elements. Recommended!!
